Kia ora Robin,

Happy New Year! It looks like you have been super busy over the holidays with all of your blogging. Well done! I'm looking forward to catching up on the progress you've made during your learning journey.

Whenever I travel somewhere new, I always try to prepare as much as I can in advance so I know what to expect when I get there. That's why it's important to check out the weather forecasts, so you know what to expect and what to pack! What kind of weather do you think you'll be getting there? I see you've given us the temperatures which is good to know, but maybe you could add a little more detail to your forecast?

Have you ever heard the words Fahrenheit and Celsius before Robin? They are ways of measuring temperatures that can be a little bit confusing. Here in NZ we use Celsius to measure temperature, but in some countries they use Fahrenheit which is where it gets a bit tricky. If it were 37 degrees celsius, that would be very hot, but if you measure that in Fahrenheit (which they have), it would actually be quite cold. If you're a bit unsure and would like to know more just let me know and I'm happy to explain it a bit more :-)

Your packing list made me laugh! Especially your descriptions for your important items. No, I think it's important we don't go commando style when travelling! You might get a little bit chilly otherwise...

I see you've packed pretty thoroughly for clothes and other things you might need, but what are you going to do when you get there if you want to buy things? Speaking of which, I think you might have forgotten something important that might help you leave the country.

Thanks for an awesome blog here, I had a good chuckle reading this! Keep it up.

Cheers,
Dan.
