Day 18

Activity 1:
I had just entered the zoo, when all of a sudden I saw a giraffe moving about in its enclosure looking like it owned the entire zoo. As I continued walking around the zoo, I saw a hippopotamus which was being fed whole cabbages from the public. I decided to throw a cabbage and I threw it straight at the hippo and the hippo caught it in its mouth. I continued walking around and saw a tiger and a lion roaring at the top of their lungs, a elephant walking around the zoo. I also saw a monkey trying to steal food, a parakeet saying hello and a orangutan climbing.

Activity 2:
Kiwi: The kiwi is a nocturnal, flightless bird who sleeps on the ground and is the national icon of New Zealand.
Kakapo:The kakapo is a plump, flightless, nocturnal parrot who is unique in many ways.

Bonus Activity:
My idea is to put all kakapo on a island which no animals that kill kakapo or kakapo eggs and let them breed and stay there.

Hi Robin!

I'm Mark, one of the teachers that was working on the Summer Learning Journey with Rachel and Dan. I've just spent the last while looking through all your blogs and just wanted to say I am SO impressed with your answers. You have done a really good job and I actually learned a few new things from you, including stuff I didn't know about Gallipoli. It was nice to see your interview with your mum too, and cool to see your opinion on other topics.

It is sad that I didn't get a chance to comment on your blogs until today, but I am sure I speak for the others when I say you should be very proud of your accomplishments these holidays. It is clear to me that you are passionate about learning, and that you are very clever.

Since it is the last day I just came back on to check how everyone was doing, and I am happy to have had the chance to say hello and read everything you have done.

I wish you all the very best for the coming year and hope you continue to strive consistently for the best outcomes for your learning. I am sure you will accomplish a lot this year.

Kia kaha, Robin, and good luck.

Mark
