Day 5

Activity 1:
Spartan Gold is a book by Clive Cussler. It is a book about the Fargos, Sam and Remi, who find a UM34 sub from World War I which was used by the Germans. They find a bottle of wine from Napoleon's lost cellar which was made by Henri Archambault on the orders of Napoleon Bonaparte by a carrier pigeon from Ebla. They then track down where the man who found them which is at Chateau d'if.

Sam and Remi are multi-millionaires who made their money by making a argon laser scanner that can detect and tell metals and can identify them from a distance. They sold it to the highest bidder after four years and turned to treasure hunting which they both liked to do.

Activity 2:
I chose Book 2-Matilda by Roald Dahl
Matilda is a book by a classic author who is famous through out the world. It will also help curious kiwi learn new words that are real and words that are made up by Roald Dahl. It also gives a good sense of mystery as some of the characters that are most unlike each other are related.

Bonus Activity:
I looked around the room. Nothing seemed unusual, but then I noticed that my key ring to my vault was missing. I looked around for it when I found a fingerprint on my desk which looked a lot like my mothers. I ran down the stairs to the dining room, looking for my mother, through into the kitchen before finding her in the lounge. I questioned her about my missing key ring and she said that she had been tidying up my room and had seen the key ring on the ground and put it in my desk. I did not know how my key ring had ended up on the fall but I was onto the mystery of it. I came to a conclusion that my albino peacocks had gotten in to the house through the gate which my brother had left open and had made the key ring fall onto the ground.

Day 3

Activity 1:

1. You need to keep your seatbelt on at all times unless you need to go toilet while flying
2. No smoking aboard the plane
3. Large electronic devices must be kept in a bag under your seat or in the storage lockers above you

Activity 2:

I would call my airline Lion International. The reason why I chose this to be my coat of arms is because it is a lion and I am calling my airline after a Lion.

Activity 1:

Activity 2:

I think that bullfighting should be banned because the innocent bulls are killed for fun. Bulls are the way to produce more bulls and cows. If they cannot be produced then we can not get cow milk. It means that we can not drink cow's milk and will have to drink other milk made from powder.

Another reason is because that the bull population is being lowed from this barbarous trait which is being forced upon bull kind.

Bonus Activity:
I went to Wellington a while ago. While I was there I went in and had a tour of the beehive seeing some of the artworks and rooms. I also had dinner on the seaside which was fish and chips on the beach near where the ferries leave from.

Day 1

Activity 1:
The country I chose was Germany. The reason why I chose Germany was because Germany was once East Prussia and West Prussia before it became Germany.

In World War II, a German sub was sunk by a broken toilet.

Dear Nana,
I wanted to let you know that I am really excited because I am going to go to Germany. I will be flying in to Frankfurt on Wednesday the 21st of December and I will be in Germany for one month.
You know how I have been enjoying watching Victoria? The reason why I have chosen Germany is because I can go to Coburg and see some of the places Prince Albert grew up in. Perhaps you can meet me for the last week there.

Ewok Village

Ewok Village is a game that is on StarWars.com Website. It is a game where you are an Ewok Cheif and you need to build a Ewok Village. When other Ewoks hear about your village, they come to your village. When other Ewoks come to your Village you rank up. At the moment I am rank 15. You can unlock buildings to get better as the hold more Ewoks. When you build a wonder you unlock a new part of the world.

Trip to OMG Tech

Trip to OMG Tech

On Saturday 28 November, 19 students dform Glenbrae School went to a Spark building to do activities about Science. We take a bus to get to the OMG Tech building

When we got there we were spilt into groups. There were 25 groups to be split into. I was split into Group 2 Subgroup B. We then went off to our activities. Our first activity was 3d Printing.

Our next activity was pulling apart. I pulled apart a phone first of all. When I had finished pulling apart the phone I helped Loto pull apart a hard drive. Our next activity was coding. We had to code a program to make a maze and get an person through it.

The next activity that we did was Science. We learnt at Science how to stick a skewer in and out of a balloon without the balloon popping. We also made catapults out of marshmallow and skewers.

The last activity that we did was robotics. We had to program a robot to move around the track, stop on the X and get to the safety zone.

At the end of the day, I was tired and happy that I had gone with our school to OMG Tech.
